TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Please read the following terms and conditions before enrolling.
1. Registration Procedures:
a. For Packages A, B, C, and Milonga Packages - 75% of the total amount due must be paid upon submission of application for registration. Any balance outstanding must be settled in cash by the first workshop day of the festival, 5 June 2008.
b. If the total costs of workshops or activities enrolled in is less than $ 100, the total
amount must be paid in full before enrolment can be accepted.
c.When booking individual Milongas, priority will be given to workshop participants
whose Milonga booking is part of the initial enrollment.
d. Priority for enrollments in Intermediate/Advance and Advance Classes will be given to those enrolling with partners.
2. Group bookings - Minimum of 10 people enrolling together as a group in the A and B Packages will be entitled to either a 7.5% (Early Bird) or 5% (Price until 4 May 2008) discount, and Package C either a 5%(Early Bird) or 3% (Price until 4 May 2008) discount off the applicable amount due at the time the registration is completed and paid for as per 1a. above. Group discounts will be applicable to the first 10 groups enrolling. This does not apply to the Milonga Packs. Please refer to the Notes at the bottom of the Schedule of Fees for further details.
3. Grand Milonga - Table bookings of 10 per table for the Grand Milonga will only be available for the first 10 tables. One full payment (equivalent to 10 people) must be made at the time of booking to secure reservations.
4. Amendments to bookings:
No charge for any FIRST item changed. Subsequent changes will incur an administration fee of $20 per amendment. If there is a change in the teacher/s assigned to conduct a specific workshop, the participant will be allowed to substitute another workshop where vacancies exist. However, no refund will be made if the scheduled workshop is not canceled.
5. REFUND POLICY:
Package enrollments - If cancellation is made BEFORE 20April 2008, the greater of $100 or 50%
of the deposit made will be forfeited. If cancellation is made BETWEEN 21 April and 10 May 2008,
50% of the total cost of enrollment but not less than $ 100 will be forfeited. If the total cost is less than $ 100, no refund will be made.
NO REFUNDS AFTER 10 MAY 2008.
Other enrollments - If the total amount of the enrollment is less than $100, the full amount will
be forfeited if cancellation is made at any time after enrollment has been processed.
Change of teachers - Our guest teachers are well recognized and regularly invited overseas
to conduct workshops. If for any reason teachers assigned to a particular workshop are unable
to conduct it, NO refund will be made if the workshop is not canceled and is handled by another overseas guest teacher.
NOTE:
We always try to balance the gender in the workshops but no guarantee is given. To avoid
disappointments, we encourage the participants to join the Dance Partner Search we have
included in the website and suggest they make contact to find out more about each other's dance background.
It is the participant's responsibility to assess the level of their dance knowledge and ability
when choosing the levels of their workshops; it is not necessarily the length of time you have
been dancing. If in doubt, please ask your teacher or tango friends. As in the previous years,
the teachers conducting the workshops will keep the level stated in the Class Schedule.
We reserve the right to make changes to the scheduled classes for reasons beyond our control.
If a particular workshop does not meet the minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel and/or change that class.
